French Bread Pizza

Who knew something so simple could be so delicious?

So my family loves pizza. But sometimes you just get a little busy where you forget to prepare the dough ahead of time. Well my guys do not want to hear that they cannot have pizza when they crave it. Since we started making our own pizza PT and Jr. Chef do not want to go out and buy pizza. So one day while Jr. Chef was harassing me for pizza and I realized that I had yet prepared our dough for that week. I figured OK let's make some French Bread Pizza. It shouldn't be anywhere as long as to prepare and he will get his pizza. But I had to make sure it tasted just as good or better than our normal pizza we make. Well why hadn't I thought of this before? Probably because sometimes the easiest thing is right in front of me and yet I do it the hard way.

Items Needed:
French Bread Pizza
Sauce of your choice
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Pepperoni or toppings of your choice
Seasonings (I used Italian seasoning)

Take your French Bread and slice in half

Take your sauce and pour on bread

Make sure to spread your sauce evenly over the bread

Take your cheese and spread all over the sauce covered bread

Now take your toppings and place on top of the cheese. I used pepperoni. Also at this time take your seasonings and sprinkle on top of the pizza. It gives it that little extra boost in taste.

Place in your oven for 15-20 minutes ( or till cheese is melted to your desire) @ 365-370 degrees.

There you go your pizza is done! Yummy!

Thanks for joining us for another session of Meals with Momma and Jr. Chef

Now tell me what type of pizza is your favorite to make at home with your Jr. Chefs?
